Featured Collection - Handbags Woven from Ata Vine
Our beautiful Ata handbags are handcrafted by Balinese women master weavers, working from their homes in the Tenganan Village in Eastern Bali. These talented women possess skills that have been passed down over many generations.
After the vine is woven, each bag is dried under the sun, then hung over a fire of coconut shells for a week. The smoke and heat from the fire gives them their golden color and their slightly smoky smell. This curing process makes them very durable. The locals say they will last one hundred years!
